This service is for manufacturers and wholesalers preparing an ETIM project that need a reliable assessment before implementation:

  • one logically related product group or range
  • no more than 5,000 products
  • no more than 50 relevant source fields
  • one primary language: German or English
  • one jointly agreed ETIM target version that can be used technically and legally for the order
  • no direct access to ERP, PIM or customer systems

Additional files, languages, product ranges, source systems or custom data sourcing are outside the standard scope.

The fit check before an order

The fit check is a free manual preliminary assessment. We establish whether your data, product range, desired ETIM version and goal fit the analysis’s standard scope. Products and data fields must be clearly identifiable for this.

If the enquiry does not fit, you receive a clear refusal or an alternative pilot or custom proposal. No paid order is created without explicit acceptance.

Up to 20 representative products may receive indicative class candidates if the data provides sufficient evidence. These candidates are not approved or guaranteed classifications.

Implementation readiness

Traffic-light assessment for each relevant data and process dimension, a prioritised action plan and a recommendation to proceed with a pilot, prepare the data or stop.

Why can’t I purchase the analysis directly?

Start with the free manual fit check. We clarify whether the data format, product range, target version and objective fit the standard scope. The assignment can only be expressly accepted afterwards; direct purchase is not available.

Will I receive a full ETIM classification?

You receive an assessment of how well your data is prepared for ETIM. A limited sample may include indicative class candidates. The result is not a complete or professionally approved classification.

Which ETIM version is used?

The target version is agreed jointly before order acceptance and must be technically and legally usable.

When does delivery time start?

After explicit order acceptance, payment and documented acceptance of a processable file.
