What we check

Technical processability

XML readability, detected BMEcat version, transaction and structural issues within the supported areas.

Identities and references

Missing or duplicate article identifiers, unusual group and reference assignments, and identifiable inconsistencies.

Content coverage

Short and long descriptions, order and quantity units, prices and price references, product groups, media references, existing classifications and ETIM coverage.

Priority

Each finding is rated critical, important or advisory. The analysis assesses presence, structure, consistency and identifiable issues. It does not confirm the factual accuracy of every individual product detail.

Is the BMEcat quality analysis a validator?

It includes technical validation but goes further. Findings are reviewed by specialists, prioritised and delivered as a PDF report, an XLSX list of findings and an action plan.

Are the errors found corrected?

The analysis provides findings and priorities for the next steps. You can request subsequent correction or recreation separately; it is quoted and commissioned as a separate service.

When does the delivery period start?

The enquiry does not start the delivery period. Whether and when a delivery period begins is clarified in the subsequent coordination.

Does the report guarantee acceptance by a recipient?

No. Customer-specific recipient rules and certifications are not included.
